Lab corp provides lab services free of charge to the clinic.
The mission of Miller-Motte is to help students acquire the essential career and personal skills and knowledge necessary to secure initial employment in their chosen field. The Shifa Clinic has signed agreement with MMC for providing externship hours to the students. The students also help with donations of non-medical supplies for the need of the patients such as clothes ,shoes, and bags.
DHEC has provided the clinic with vaccines free of charge to help the community. These vaccines include Tetanus, Flu , and Twinrix
As an organization, our core values are driven by a desire to improve human life, achieve scientific excellence, operate with the highest standards of integrity, expand access to our products and employ a diverse workforce that values collaboration. Through Merck we have patient assistance programs running which helps in providing other vaccines including Gardasil, Pnuemovax, MMR, Recombivax
In addition, Hollings Cancer Center breast health patient navigation program provides help to the patients refferred to the Center by working to remove any barriers (financial, transportation, language, social etc.) to them receiving timely screening, diagnostic and treatment services.

Approximately 3,500 full-time DHEC employees around the state support communities in promoting health, provide vital healthcare and other direct services, monitor pollution, coordinate disease control, carry out the agency's inspection and regulatory responsibilities, respond to environmental emergencies, and protect public health and the environment in numerous other ways.
